Since 1995, the James River Singers have provided the Richmond area with great choral repertoire in a variety of settings. The group performs both a cappella and accompanied works for chorus and is highly praised for its innovative and exciting programming. Concert themes might range from Baltic composers to entire Handel concerts or a concert “…Celebrating Things That Fly.” Under the direction of Jeffrey Riehl, the all-volunteer, 26-member ensemble performs a Fall and a Spring program each season. Tickets are $15 and are available at the door for each performance.
