Jimmy Mak’s has been a staple of the Portland live music scene for as long as there has been a music scene in Portland. Having helped launch the careers of a number of Northwest greats, the club continues to bring in world-class talent like Janice Scroggins, Randy Porter and Mel Brown. The cover is always reasonable and occasionally there isn’t one. This place is packed on the weekends, and reservations are always encouraged to get the best seats in the house.
