Orlando Cabaret Festival

Mad Cow Theatre, 105 South Magnolia Avenue

website

(April-May) Every Spring, Downtown Orlando plays host to the month-long Orlando Cabaret Festival, hosted by Mad Cow Theatre. Each year, MCT transforms its intimate theater space into a lively cabaret nightspot featuring everything from jazz and Broadway favorites to pop revues and unique theatrical experiences. Performers range from local favorites performing hits from the Great American Songbook to nationally recognized acts who blend original material with the great torch songs of the last century.

Recently, the festival has also begun a lunchtime program of 45-minute cabaret sets geared toward workers in the Downtown area who can bring their own lunch and enjoy a smaller slice of cabaret heaven on their lunch breaks. Tickets for performances in the festival are very reasonably priced, but the ticket package options are the real steal for the bargain hunter who wants to see more than one show in the festival. Check out the website for the different ticket package options.
