One of the most venerated jazz spots in Philly, Ortlieb’s has played host to countless jazz legends since opening in the 1980’s. While some of its initial mystique may have worn off, the music is still top-notch. The food is exceptional (if not a little expensive), the drinks are reasonable and the cover charge is mid-range, but if you’re excited about that evening’s performer, the Ortlieb’s gestalt makes for a reasonable classy night out.
