website

(July) The Salt Lake City International Jazz Festival began in 2000 and since then, has featured the likes of Nancy Wilson, Sheila E., Spyro Gyra and many others at the popular summer event in beautiful downtown Salt Lake City. The festival takes place over three days in early July in SLC’s Washington Square. Thousands flock to hear local and international jazz musicians and to enjoy the hundreds of food & craft vendors.

A number of jazz clinics also take place in conjunction with the festival (open to all ages) at an off-site location. These educational programs are always very popular and encourage participants to bring along their instruments, if they play. Tickets are available through the website and children receive free admission with an accompanying parent.
