For over 50 years, Society Hill has prided itself on good ol’ fashioned theatrical entertainment. Eschewing the highbrow tastes of most of Philly’s other regional companies, Society Hill has a tradition of producing long running plays and musicals (the ever popular Nunsense ran for over a decade) at the historic David Garrick Hall, while its “Red Room” cabaret space offers unique solo turns and works in development. Now playing indefinitely: Respect! A Musical Journey of Women, a revue featuring classic songs of female empowerment.
