The Pollard Theatre Company is a year-round professional theatre company, featuring some of the finest talent in the central Oklahoma region. The Pollard is a major anchor of Guthrie’s Historic Downtown district, a center of tourism due to Guthrie’s wealth of restored Victorian buildings and its status as the Territorial Capital and first State Capital of Oklahoma. The Pollard is committed to producing a variety of quality theatrical experiences for the residents and tourists of Central Oklahoma, focusing on the art of creative story-telling and a commitment to narratives which illuminate the shared human experience.

Recent productions have included Harvey, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Rabbit Hole, Passing Strange, Tuesdays With Morrie and Legally Blonde. In addition, each year, the Pollard’s exclusive A Territorial Christmas Carol draws thousands of visitors to Guthrie’s month-long Territorial Christmas Celebration.
