This multicultural festival is held every year at Jacksonville’s Metropolitan Park, and features the cultural and artistic traditions of such diverse countries as China, India, Israel, Kenya, Spain, Turkey, and many others.  Notable events include a Naturalization Ceremony and the Parade of Flags.  Other cultural experiences involve music, folk dancing, international foods, crafts, and more.

World of Nations Celebration Information

  • Public Transportation: Good (easily accessible by buses AR6, AR7, CT2, CT4, K2, R5, S1, X2, and the Talleyrand Community Shuttle)
  • Handicapped Accessibility: Good
  • Performances/Programs: Runs for four consecutive days, Thursday–Sunday.  Field Trip Days for schools are on Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.; pre-registration required
  • Ticket Prices: One-Way Ticket to the World (Saturday, Sunday) $5; Round-trip two-day pass $8; Around the World Family Night (Friday night only) $1; admission for children under the age of three is free.  $1 discounts for military personnel and seniors.  Field Trip tickets are $3 (admission is free for chaperones); there is an optional $4 meal and drink ticket available.
