Gloria Musicæ is Sarasota’s only all-professional chamber chorus, with 30 paid members performing three major concerts during their season. Under the baton of former U.S. Army Chorus principal pianist Dr. Joseph Holt, the choir performs masterworks from the choral repertoire in addition to rarely heard gems, as it has since its founding in 1979. The chorus was the southeast’s first professional choir and this dedication to professionalism shows in its numerous accolades, collaborations and sold out concert dates. Subscriptions are available for Gloria Musicæ’s season and individual tickets are quite reasonable for such high quality choral events.
