Featuring unsurpassed production values, and an ever-exciting array of new and classic stories, CTC has set the standard for excellence in the theatre for young audiences field. A “must stop” destination for theatre lovers in the Twin Cities, the Children’s Theatre Company was awarded the 2003 Regional Tony Award for its continued excellence.

Founded in 1965, the Company now divides its eight-show season between the 747-seat UnitedHealth Group Stage and the intimate 298-seat Cargill Stage, where loyal subscribers have experienced such legendary CTG productions over the years as The HobbitTommy DePaola’s Strega Nona, and The Marvelous Land of Oz. A pioneering force in theatre arts training for kids, CTC’s education program includes an equally impressive roster of classes and programs, including the clever CTC4Teens Council designed to create unique theatrical experiences for students15-18 years old.
