The Birmingham Museum of Art continues its push for community outreach with the new “Bart’s ArtVenture!” space, going into the Hess Gallery in March. The ArtVenture area – which is named after the museum’s golden Panamanian bat mascot – is intended to appeal to kids up to age 12, with a pair of interactive exhibit spaces and free range for play and mingling.
