(Julie Washington, Cleveland Plain-Dealer) You clamored and the Cleveland Museum of Art listened.
So many of you asked about the colors used on gallery walls for special exhibitions (why aren’t you people paying attention to the art?), that the museum and Cleveland-based Glidden paints have distributed color cards for the last two major exhibitions.
“Let’s just tell people what we’re using,” said Jeffrey Strean, the museum’s director of design and architecture. Strean faces the same dilemmas as homeowners when it comes to choosing colors — except that he has the expertise to do it right.
