The hackneyed headline above is just a way of reiterating that the HD film version of the National Gallery of London’s unimaginably popular da Vinci retrospective Painter at the Court of Milan will very soon be hitting theaters all around this fair land, and while the concept of seeing an exhibition of paintings on a movie screen is, at best, foreign and weird, this is Leonardo, and these paintings are going away, soon, and most of them aren’t going to travel anywhere again, ever.
