This year’s Jazz at Lincoln Center is apparently upping the ambition a bit; they’ve planned six small festivals dealing with some of the titans of jazz as part of the just-announced 2012-13 season. And, yeah, heavyweights: Coltrane, Ellington, bebop, the idea of the “cool”. Some others, too. Heady stuff. Also, Bobby McFerrin and Eddie Palmieri and Wynton Marsalis’ Blood on the Fields and – okay, it’s Jazz at Lincoln Center. They’ve got good stuff. Take a look.
