(Jaci Webb, Billings Gazette) Composer and conductor Marvin Hamlisch will be the headline performer at the Alberta Bair Theater’s 25th anniversary celebration on Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
The renowned American composer will play piano and conduct the Billings Symphony Orchestra in a formal black-tie concert. Also scheduled for the gala event is a founder’s reception for the ABT’s largest sponsors and an after-party with Hamlisch at the Crowne Plaza.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the ABT ticket office, Rimrock Mall and online at albertabairtheater.org. They are $55.50, $75.50, $150 and $250. The $150 ticket includes the after-party and a commemorative CD featuring some of Hamlisch’s previously recorded music with a special ABT 25th anniversary label. The $250 ticket includes the founder’s reception at the Yellowstone Art Museum before the concert, the concert and the after-party.
