Stephen Sachs’ “Bakersfield Mist” has turned out to be such a hit for the New Jersey Repertory Company that the Long Branch theater is extending its run.
The story of a trailer resident who may own a genuine Jackson Pollock painting — and the supercilious art appraiser who comes to her humble abode — was to close on Jan. 22.
