The Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award-winner, PROOF, by David Auburn, is coming to Empire Stage! Produced by New City Players, this play follows Catherine, a troubled young woman who has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician. Over the long weekend that follows, a burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draw Catherine into the most difficult problem of all: How much of her father’s madness, or genius, has she inherited?
The show will be directed by Tim Davis; and the cast includes Jeffrey Bruce, Johnny Contini, Erica Rose Dade and Krystal Millie Valdes.
