Robert Wittman spent twenty years with the FBI as their expert in international arts crime. Guy has seen some stuff go down. He lays back a little more, now, three years retired from the feds, runs a consulting firm out of Chester Heights, PA. Wrote a terrific book, Priceless, detailing some of his most notable cases. Art theft isn’t really much of a problem here, because we build museums with security in mind. Elderly buildings in Europe, though: some of those are buffets for experienced thieves. Wittman’s going to be giving a talk at the Boise Art Museum on Thursday evening. Tickets start at $10. Think about it. (FULL ARTICLE: Andrew Crisp, Boise Weekly)
