The Secret Policeman’s Ball, the painfully British festival of comedy and tunes that benefits such dirty socialist charities as Amnesty International, has pulled up stakes and lit out for the colonies. This year’s Ball will be at Radio City Music Hall on March 4; Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Russell Brand are among those confirmed. Communists, the lot of them. Tickets for the gala go on sale Monday, but with any luck they’ll broadcast the affair, because the only way those tickets last longer than ten minutes is if people really have started to believe that Amnesty International is a socialist operation.
