A Vietnamese jar that was recently acquired by the Birmingham Museum of Art has been cited by a London visual arts magazine as one of the best acquisitions of 2011.

In the December issue of Apollo magazine, a monthly that has covered visual arts since 1925, the Le Dynasty clay jar was listed ninth among 26 art works acquired by museums from around the world. (FULL ARTICLE: Michael Huebner, The Birmingham News)
