For many in the community, it just wouldn’t be the holidays without a performance of “The Nutcracker” by Walkerdance Studios.

Ann Bradey Lewis and Emily Bacigalupo, both former Walkerdance students, are continuing the tradition former owner John Walker began with the annual show, now in its 30th year.

“We are using some of the oldest costumes we have,” Lewis said in a recent interview at the studio. The toy soldier costumes, she added, are 25 years old. (FULL ARTICLE: Charity Apple, Times-News)
