Costume Sale at Zach Theatre

Ever wonder what it’s like to walk in an actor’s shoes? This Saturday, January 14, you may have the chance to find out. Zach Theatre is holding a costume sale starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Whisenhunt Studio, 1510 Toomey Road. The costume sale will include surplus items and costume pieces too fragile or too specific to be useful as stock for future shows. You’ll find everything from current, modern clothing to 1950s clothing, purses, ties, hats, and gloves, most of which have been purchased over the years for Zach productions. Costume Shop Manager Blair Hurry says, “Every few years we need to have a costume sale to create more room in stock for newer costumes. We always have more costumes and not enough storage space.” This is a one-day sale; prices will range from $2.25 to $33.00. All forms of payment are accepted. Tax is included in the sale price, and so is the smell of the greasepaint.
