Into The Woods

When a local professional theatre closed, their Director of Education Melissa Boher Jacobson, had a dilemma.  She had already auditioned and cast an enthusiastic and talented group of actors, aged 10 – 18 to appear in their conservatory work-shop production of INTO THE WOODS.  In spite of the fact that they no longer had a theatre to perform in, the cast and families were so committed to the project that Melissa felt compelled to live up to the adage, “the show must go on”.  She sent an email to families, asking if they were on board.  If so, she pledged to try to find a new venue for the show.  Her search ended successfully when Temple Beth El of West Palm Beach, stepped up to the plate, offering their ample stage and auditorium for the upcoming production.  The All Star Entertainment Performing Arts Conservatory was subsequently launched, and the cast and director have been in rehearsal since late October.  The talented and hard-working cast of middle and high school students, attend G-Star, Dreyfoos, Palm Beach Public, Palm Springs Middle, Bak Middle School of the Arts, Palm Beach Gardens High School, and the Meyer Academy. The production will be directed by Melissa Boher Jacobson, John Lariviere and Lissen Ellington, with musical direction and accompaniment by Mark Galsky.

All Star Entertainment, Services, Inc. and The All Star Performing Arts Conservatory will present INTO THE WOODS, on December 14th at 7:30 PM in Senter Hall, Temple Beth El Synagogue, located at 2815 North Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach.
