The Playgroup LLC continues to present the best work by local playwrights with nine exciting performances of Todd Caster’s Little Piggies. Sibling rivalry explodes during a party for their rich, aging uncle. Confetti and insults fly with the arrival of an unexpected visitor. Little Piggies join together to save their inheritance in this wickedly funny black comedy by Todd Caster.
Published and produced playwright, Todd Caster, is author of Riddle of Three, Broken Angels, and Stranded on the Isle of Few. As an actor he appeared in many productions including The False Witness with TV and stage star Richard Kind, as well as Rumors, Lost in Yonkers and Stageblood. Todd is co-founder, director and producer of NY’s Theatre Arts Group.
Founded in 2010, The Playgroup LLC provides a vehicle for local playwrights to develop and showcase their work. Productions of this canon include: Broken Angels by Todd Caster, Joseph Andrews by Peter Hawkins, The Monster Project by Brian Harris, The Last of the Aztecs by Joe Feinstein, and four one-act evenings: Shortcuts 1,2,3 and 4. The Playgroup LLC constantly seeks new playwrights to showcase.
