The Arts Garage presents the world premiere of the play Uncertain Terms by Allison Gregory. Gregory’s plays have been produced and developed all over the country and include Forcing Hyacinths (Julie Harris Playwriting Award; South Coast Repertory Theatre’s California Playwrights Award); Fall Off Night (Garland Award, L.A); Burning Bridget Cleary (Seattle Times Award, Best New Play, Seattle),(ICU), and The Night Garden. She has received commissions, grants, and development from South Coast Repertory, The Kennedy Center, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Skirball-Kenis Foundation, ACT Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, The Empty Space, Seattle’s Arts and Cultural Affairs, Seattle Dramatists, Northwest Playwright’s Alliance, and Hedgebrook Playwright’s Foundation. 

Uncertain Terms is a knotty comedy about finding sanctuary, constructing a family and selling real estate in a down market. Unloading the past is complicated. When they divorced, Dani thought she was done with Harry. Instead Harry moved in with Dani’s combative mother. Now Mother is gone and the house is on the market—but Harry won’t leave.
