Denver: Jazz

There are almost six hundred thousand people who call Denver home, and among them, many diverse ethnic communities who enrich the city’s music scene. Jazz in Denver is highly influenced by its multifarious population, and each neighborhood has a different sound to offer any given night of the week. Whether you are looking for a chill piano bar, a swinging big band show or some super talented and soulful cats (yeah, they really call themselves cats. Ya dig?) we try and stay on the cutting edge, and keep you in the loop, so you don’t miss a beat.
It is an undeniable fact that jazz in the mile high city is expanding to incorporate all its different members – old and young, white collar and blue collar, the jazz enthusiasts and even just the music scene tourists. No need to worry – there is something for everyone. (Dayna Copeland)
