It’s That Time of the Month for Three Atlanta Art Galleries

We’re talking about the monthly Ponce Crush, a First Saturday collaborative art stroll connecting three galleries along Atlanta’s Ponce De Leon Ave. and their respective group shows: Young Blood Gallery, a mainstay in the independent and underground art community, Kibbee Gallery, an alternative art space in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood and Beep Beep Gallery, a gallery committed to showing work by emerging local artists. This month’s event is taking place December 3 from 6-10 pm.

Get your Crush started at Kibbee for “Nick O’ Time”, a holiday group show featuring small, affordable contemporary works all priced under $300, just in time for holiday gifts. Next, saunter or stumble over to Young Blood and check out their show, “Who are the People in Your Neighborhood”, which features work from over 50 artists exploring the theme of community through artwork. Finally, end the night at Beep Beep’s “Alchemy”, where you’ll see work created on or applied to wood triangles.

If you miss the opening night, not to worry: “Alchemy” runs through December 17 and “Nick O’Time” and “Who are the People in Your Neighborhood” run through December 30, And, as always, Ponce Crush will be back next month.
